Devlog Week 5 - A Very Rough Prototype
Well, the last week has been quite the venture! We have been struggling to make a prototype which showcases some of our game's fun aspect. Visually speaking, it is nothing impressive... okay, it's quite the mess. On the scripting side, we've made quite a lot of leaps! However, there are some changes to Kribo's moveset.
1. Dash? What dash?
Originally, we intended to have Kribo dash left and right to attack. However, after further thinking, a vertical design wouldn't work very well with horizontal movement such as dashing. That's why we have switched the dash with...
2. Chain Uppercuts!
On successful attacks, you gain the ability to jump again! This means you can jump again, and again, and again, as long as you can hit enemies! This combined with the fact that upward movements are accompanied with UPPERCUTS, you can chain jumps to reach the skies!
Sadly, bugs are still here and there, so expect good ol' Kribo getting stuck randomly here and there. Don't worry, we're already working on a fix!
